History of Golf Clothing

Golfers have been the butt of jokes for many years because of their "dress sense," or "dress no sense" as some have called it, but nobody really knows how it all started. Golf was first played in Scotland where men wear skirts, so that wasn’t a good start, and the upper classes who mostly played the game during the early 20th century always dressed like that, but as time traveled on towards the 1960s and 1970s, fashions changed but golfers didn’t.
